The e-learning sector is growing rapidly, but there is a lack of professionals trained to design and deliver digital learning content effectively. At the same time, many VET professionals and young people are seeking to improve their digital skills to meet new labour market demands.
We aim to support unemployed young people and VET learners in gaining relevant and market-driven digital skills by developing a new professional profile – the eLearning Architect – with the skills to design inclusive and engaging online education. ARCHILAB also aims to strengthen the digital and pedagogical capacities of VET professionals and foster transnational cooperation between the education, technology and employment sectors. With all of this, we expect to promote the adoption of innovative approaches in vocational education and training across Europe.
