As the world of work undergoes rapid transformation, one thing is certain: digital competence is no longer a bonus—it’s a necessity. Enter ARCHILAB (eLearning Architects: Designing the Future of the Labor Market), a pioneering Erasmus+ KA210-VET small-scale partnership launched to reimagine vocational education and training across Europe.
Despite the accelerating demand for digital learning, there is a surprising void in formal education programs tailored to eLearning Architects—the specialists behind the design, structure, and delivery of digital educational experiences. ARCHILAB seeks to change that.
The project aims to build a scalable and inclusive model for VET institutions to train professionals in this growing field. The objective? Equip both educators and learners with the skills to succeed in a digital-first labour market while boosting innovation, employability, and equity.
Beyond the research regarding the state of digital VET transformation in Spain, Croatia, and Serbia, the project will produce a non-formal training curriculum specifically geared toward eLearning Architects. This curriculum is designed to be flexible, inclusive, and easily replicable, enabling other VET institutions to adapt and adopt it across Europe.
Moreover, the blend of experienced and emerging partners enriches the project’s approach, ensuring a balance between cutting-edge innovation and capacity building. By consciously including under-represented groups, ARCHILAB also upholds Erasmus+ values of inclusion and equal opportunity.
This ambitious initiative brings together three organisations—Backslash (Spain) as the project lead, alongside Pannonia Consulting (Croatia) and Libero (Serbia)—to strengthen the VET ecosystem through the development of non-formal digital learning pathways.
