ARCHILAB Kicks Off with Transnational Meeting in Valencia

The ARCHILAB project officially launched in Spain, bringing together partners from three countries to co-design training and tools for the future eLearning Architects of VET.

On May 6–7, 2025, the partners of the Erasmus+ project eLearning Architects: Designing the Future of the Labor Market (Project Number: 2024-2-ES01-KA210-VET-000288697) gathered in Quart de Poblet (Valencia, Spain) for the official launch of the initiative.

ARCHILAB addresses one of today’s key challenges in vocational education and training: the urgent need for professionals who can design inclusive, effective digital learning environments. The project introduces and promotes the role of the eLearning Architect, a new professional profile that blends pedagogy, technology, and labour market needs.

Over the next 12 months, the consortium will develop:

  • A 50-hour non-formal training programme for eLearning Architects
  • Digital learning tools to support the curriculum
  • A capacity-building training for VET providers
  • Professional internships and mentoring for VET learners
  • A strategy to digitalise all learning content and ensure long-term sustainability

The consortium is led by Backslash (Spain), and includes Pannonia Consulting (Croatia) and Libero (Serbia). During the meeting, partners reviewed the progress on the curriculum development, the draft Risk and Communication Plans, and the roadmap for digitalisation. A strong collaborative spirit and shared vision marked the start of this promising partnership.

Stay tuned as we move forward with building the future of digital VET education!
